New academic partnership creates transfer and graduate admission pathways for AMU students and graduates

PARIS, FRANCE, August 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- American Management University (AMU) and Bethesda University have entered into a formal articulation agreement designed to expand academic opportunities and establish additional pathways for AMU students and graduates.

Bethesda University, located in Anaheim, California, is accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS). TRACS is an institutional accrediting organization recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Under the new articulation agreement, Bethesda University will evaluate eligible academic credits earned by students at American Management University for transfer into applicable Bethesda University programs. The agreement also establishes a graduate admission pathway through which graduates who have successfully completed a baccalaureate degree at AMU may apply for admission to graduate programs at Bethesda University, subject to Bethesda University’s standard admission requirements and applicable program prerequisites.

The agreement provides a formal framework for academic progression between the two institutions, including transfer-credit evaluation, academic advising, course and degree mapping, and graduate application review.

“This agreement represents another important step in expanding meaningful academic pathways for our students,” said Roy Virgen Jr., CEC, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of American Management University. “Developing relationships with established institutions in the United States gives our students additional opportunities to continue their education and demonstrates our commitment to building credible academic progression routes. We are pleased to establish this relationship with Bethesda University.”

As part of the agreement, American Management University will provide students with accurate academic advising regarding transfer opportunities and graduate application requirements and will supply official transcripts and course syllabi when necessary for credit evaluation.

Bethesda University will provide transfer-credit evaluations for incoming AMU students, assist transferring students with course selection and degree mapping, and review graduate applications from AMU alumni in accordance with the university’s standard admissions procedures.

The articulation agreement became effective August 15, 2026 and is scheduled to remain in effect through December 31, 2040, subject to its termination provisions. The agreement was formally executed by authorized representatives of both institutions.

The partnership is part of American Management University’s broader effort to establish articulation, transfer, and academic progression opportunities with higher education institutions in the United States and internationally.
