Azerbaijan Greenlights New Collaboration Plan with China
Aliyev formalized this through a decree that approves the "Cooperation Plan on Joint Promotion of the Belt and Road Initiative between Azerbaijan and China." This plan sets out specific cooperation domains focused on strengthening trade links and connectivity between the two nations.
Once the decree is effective, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy will take charge of executing the plan, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is tasked with informing China’s government after completing the necessary domestic procedures to activate the agreement.
This approval comes in the wake of a significant signing event held on April 23 in Beijing, where both President Aliyev and Chinese President Xi Jinping participated in the official endorsement of this cooperation blueprint.
